ESTATE GEORG JENSEN GREEN AGATE DOVE PIN
This exquisite large dove pin is part of the Vintage Georg Jensen Jewelry Collection. The largest of the Dove brooches, it features vibrant green chrysoprase stones that contrast beautifully with a lustrous silver-stylized dove. Originating from a 1907 sketch by Kristian Mohl-Hansen, this art nouveau brooch was produced between 1933 and 1944, as indicated by its vintage c-clasp and classic GJ mark. Its prominence is acknowledged, being pictured in both "Georg Jensen Jewelry" from the Yale Press and "Georg Jensen, A Tradition of Splendid Silver" by Janet Drucker.
